Frequently Asked Questions

Take me home

We had tried to answer the most frequently asked questions. However, if you have a question that we have not touched on, please give us a call at 615-584-3938 or email us at luvthewatr@aol.com. We look forward to having you join us.

Are all meals included?

Yes, all meals and snacks. The ships dining room is open in the evening for dinner and for breakfast each day. Lunch is served in the dining room on the days we are at sea. Lunch and dinner are also available bistro-style on the Lido Deck. The ship also has the added convenience of a reservations-recommended steakhouse (nominal $30 fee per person will apply). They also have a pizza place on the Lido deck that is open 24 hours per day.

Is there a dress code for the dining room?

Depending on the length of the cruise, either formal dress or casual resort wear is required in the Dining Room. For those not wanting to dress up, the Lido restaurants are open nightly (with the exception of the last evening of the cruise), and have a casual dress code. However, shirts and shoes/footwear (flip-flops) must be worn at all times inside the Lido restaurants.

Cruise Casual Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Sport slacks, khakis, jeans (no cut-offs), dress shorts (long), collared sport shirts; Ladies - Casual dresses, casual skirts or pants and blouses, summer dresses, Capri pants, dress shorts, jeans (no cut-offs). Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Casual dinner for ladies and gentlemen: gym shorts, basketball shorts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men and baseball hats.

Cruise Elegant Dining Dress Code: Gentlemen - Dress slacks, dress shirts. We also suggest a sport coat. If you wish to wear suits and ties or tuxedos, by all means we invite you to do so. Ladies - Cocktail dresses, pantsuits, elegant skirts and blouses; if you´d like to show off your evening gowns, that´s great too! Not permitted in the dining room during the Cruise Elegant dinner for ladies and gentlemen: shorts, T-shirts, beach flip-flops, bathing suit attire, jeans, cut-off jeans, sleeveless shirts for men, sportswear, and baseball hats.

Will there be any ´Elegant Dining´ nights while we are on board the ship?

Yes there will be two and we love to get all dressed up. If you don´t however, you may eat on the Lido deck.

Is there room service?

Room Service is available 24 hours a day with a selection of sandwiches, beverages, desserts and fruit; a continental breakfast is available during the morning hours. There is no additional charge for most items.

Do I need to pack a hair dryer?

No, there will be a hair dryer in the vanity in your stateroom.

Are there bathrobes in the staterooms?

Bathrobes are offered in all ocean view staterooms.

Are there electrical outlets in the staterooms?

There is one electrical outlet in each stateroom located in the area of the desk/vanity. The outlet is equipped with a 3-prong 110 volt and a 220 volt plug. The outlet in the bathroom can only be used for electric razors. We always take an adapter with three spots to plug in our computer, speakers, and the hair dryer!

Is there a mini bar in the room?

All staterooms will have a stocked mini bar. The items will be replenished twice daily as the items are consumed and charged to the guest´s Sail & Sign Account along with a 15% restocking charge. If the guest wishes to have the minibar permanently locked, they must contact the Information Desk. The minibar service will be locked on the night prior to debarkation.

Offered in category 11 and 12 suites. The minibar will be stocked with premium liquor, wine, beer, soft drinks and a variety of sweet/salty snacks.

Are we allowed to bring on our own drinks?

Bringing Alcohol On Board - Embarkation (This is the cruise line´s policy)

Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages on board. However, guests 21 years of age and older only may bring one bottle (750ml) of wine or champagne, per person, on board only during embarkation at the beginning of the cruise. A $10 corkage fee per bottle will be charged should you wish to consume this wine in the main dining room; $14 corkage fee per bottle in the steakhouse. Guests may bring a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages. All prohibited alcohol, additional quantities of wine/champagne or excessive quantities of non-alcoholic beverages will be confiscated and discarded without compensation.

Alcoholic beverages of any kind purchased in any Port-of-Call will be confiscated at the gangway, stored on board and retained by the ship´s crew until the end of the voyage.

Is there a safe in the cabin?

For our guests´ convenience and security, a safe is provided in every stateroom and is located in either the closet or a cabinet. The size varies among the fleet; approximate size: 10"(wide) x 9"(high) x 8"(deep). The safe can be opened by using any type of card with a magnetic strip on the back, such as a credit card.

Is there a casino on board?

Yes. They offer a fun-filled casino with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly international staff.

They have all of the popular table games and slots that you expect to find in any modern casino with some new games and some old favorites.

If you want to learn how to play just go to the Gaming Lessons at the beginning of the cruise or ask any of their friendly staff who will be happy to assist you.

During your cruise you can join in on one of the exciting tournaments for a nominal entry fee and win great cash prizes.

Their "Megacash" progressive jackpot is linked to many ships and has the highest payout on the high seas often reaching over $1Million!

Why have you included gratuity in the price?

We did this because most people like an all inclusive price. You do not have to worry about leaving additional gratuity, however, if you feel a staff member has done an outstanding job please feel free to leave an additional amount in your cabin.

So you know this is how your $10 per person per day gratuity that has been prepaid is distributed:

$ 3.50 Per Day Stateroom Services

$ 5.50 Per Day Dining Room Services

$ 1.00 Per Day Alternative Services: distributed to other kitchen and hotel service staff

Do I need a passport?

Yes, you will each need a passport. In fact not only do you need a passport to enter the countries we will be visiting, US Customs and Immigration now require a passport for re-entry into the US.

Does cruise line have a "Code of Conduct"?

Yes, it states:
"We welcome you aboard and wish you a wonderful vacation on our vessel. We want every guest to have a truly enjoyable cruise experience. Therefore, please be considerate of your fellow guests while on board. The cruise line will not tolerate any behavior affecting the comfort, enjoyment, health, safety or well-being of other guests or our crew. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue passage to anyone who, in the crew´s judgment, is conducting themselves in a manner that adversely affects the cruise experience of others. Please refer to paragraphs 6(b) and 24 of your ticket contract for more details on this important policy."
